🌍 Empowering Change through Entrepreneurship | 21–24 July 2025 – Colombo, Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 Last week, Afroz Zahan had the privilege of joining a four-day Entrepreneurship Training Bootcamp in Colombo, Sri Lanka, under the Feminist Opportunities Now (FON) Incubation Program, representing Nice Foundation, where she currently serves as Project Coordinator for the FON Project. This transformative experience was focused on building sustainable, inclusive, and impactful social enterprises. Led by expert trainers Sophie Husser (FON Project Manager, Paris) and Marie Faucon (Incubation Officer, Abidjan), the bootcamp took us through a dynamic journey of entrepreneurial learning and strategic project development: 🧠 Key Areas We Explored: • Understanding the hybrid economic model for organizations • Defining our mission, vision, and value proposition • Navigating the entrepreneurial approach using our strengths and the effectual method • Conducting ecosystem analysis, market research, and target segmentation • Refining our offers through the Marketing Mix • Pitching sessions to communicate our ideas effectively • Financial planning for long-term sustainability We engaged in hands-on workshops, pitch sessions, and collaborative exercises, each designed to bring clarity and structure to our income-generating projects.
