Union-Level Dialogue Meeting on Gender Justice and Inclusion Locations: 📍 Raghunathpur, Dumuria Upazila
The Nice Foundation organized a series of Union-Level Dialogue Meetings aimed at raising community awareness and strengthening collective action around gender-based violence (GBV), gender norms, and inclusive participation.
The core objectives of these dialogues were to: 🌸 Raise awareness about gender-based violence (GBV) and its impact on individuals and communities, 🌸 Facilitate open discussions on harmful gender norms and the socially constructed roles of women and men 🌸 Encourage women’s active participation in decision-making processes at the family and community levels 🌸 Promote the inclusion of all community members—especially women, transgender persons, persons with disabilities, and other marginalized groups—in social, economic, and civic life
These dialogues served as open platforms where diverse voices from the community—including women leaders, youth, local influencers, religious and social leaders—came together to share experiences, challenge harmful practices, and co-create local solutions for change.
By creating safe and inclusive spaces for honest conversation, these events contribute to fostering awareness, strengthening community solidarity, and promoting a more just and equitable society at the grassroots level.
