CYWL Mousumi Mandol said, “Women have been oppressed in patriarchal society for ages now it's time to take a stand. Women's rights should be established. For example, the right to parental property, the right to work and other rights. We are NICE Foundation working on rights of minority Hindu women. Among them, the right of Hindu women to ancestral property is one of them. Dowry system is prevalent in Hindu society. Hindu women are subjected to human and animal torture for the system of dowry. Another big problem is child marriage. Currently, the rate of child marriage is high. We hold meetings every month. In this meeting, we will all discuss various issues around women abuse, child marriage etc."
